Prednisolone is generally recommended for healing allergies, arthritis, such breathing disorder as asthma, collagen diseases (like lupus), some blood disorders, keratitis, leukemia, endocrine problems (like adrenocortical insufficiency), intestinal problems, swelling resulted from particular conditions, and skin conditions (such as psoriasis). If advised by your doctor the medication may be used for treating other diseases.

Being a corticosteroid the drug acts to reduce inflammation altering the way the body's immune responds to different conditions.

Prednisolone is forbidden for the use of people allergic to it. You are not to use this drug if you will receive a live or attenuated live vaccination, if you suffer from particular malaria form, if you have some systemic fungal infection, herpes or optic nerve inflammation. Prednisolone cannot be combuned with mifepristone.
