Prinzide is recommended for reducing high blood pressure.

The drug represents an angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitor and thiazide diuretic combination. Its aim is to eliminate excess fluid from the body and dilate blood vessels.

Prinzide is inappropriate for people allergic to a component in it or to other sulfonamide medicine (probenecid, sulfamethoxazole, glyburide). If you have ever had angioedema (swelling of the throat, face, lips, and tongue), kidney artery narrowing or if you can't urinate do not take Prinzide. Pregnant women and patients using ketanserin and dofetilide cannot be treated with this medicine.
